Traditional Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncutre

What is facial acupuncture?

Facial acupuncture has been around for centuries, starting as far back as the Sung Dynasty (960 AD-1270 AD).  Acupuncture Rejuvenation practices were employed for the Empress and the Emperors. Celebrities have used Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation to maintain and improve their appearances naturally without the use of Botox.  Cosmetic Acupuncture represents a safe and natural method to promote youthfulness and enhance natural beauty.  You don’t have to be a Hollywood Star to take advantage of this ancient technique for revitalizing the skin.  As an anti-aging treatment, facial acupuncture utilizes traditional Chinese medicine in conjunction with modern science. The result being restored balance of energy flow throughout the body, while increasing the production of natural collagen in the skin.

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture is a highly effective, natural, and safe procedure used to reduce the signs of aging without chemicals or surgery. Facial acupuncture is not a trendy, new practice, as it has been around for centuries.  There are many benefits for those who want to revitalize the look and feel of their skin by building collagen, toning muscles, improving circulation, and stimulating blood flow.  When the body is at a more rested, healthy state on the inside, the outside reflects it with a healthier and more youthful appearance.

Facial Cupping can be transformative to your appearance either as a standalone treatment, or an addition to acupuncture facial rejuvenation. Cupping offers many additional benefits to help skin regain its youthful appearance such as:

  • Increased local circulation to the skin
  • Brings nutrients to the surface
  • Increases blood flow
  • Drains stagnant fluids
  • Reduces puffiness

Facial cupping is gentle and does not leave marks or bruising like body cupping.  The cups come in a variety of shapes specially designed for your face. After applying a therapeutic oil, the small glass cup is gently suctioned for a few seconds to stimulate individual acupuncture points and then gently moved along an acupuncture channel (meridian).  Cups are also moved over deep wrinkles to increase blood flow to the area and moved along the face and down the neck to drain lymphatic fluid and stimulate blood flow.  These treatments bring collagen to the surface, reducing puffiness & dark circles, diminish lines, drain nasal sinuses and promote lymphatic system drainage. Other conditions treated are TMJ and sinus pressure.

The increased blood circulation, which occurs during Guasha, helps to detoxify the face and move stagnant blood and inflammation, which can occur under the eyes and chin. One of the most beneficial aspects of the treatment is that acupuncture points on the face are massaged with the Guasha tools, which also benefits the internal organs. The healthier your insides are the better your skin looks.
