Ear seeds!

farm to table

Ear seeds are made of a Chinese herb called a vaccaria seed.  They are attached to an adhesive & applied to specific points on the ear.  They extend the effectiveness of your acupuncture treatment and can be used alone or following a treatment.  Just squeeze these tiny seeds a few times a day to stimulate the acupuncture points.  You can shower and sleep with them. Remove in 3-5 days by peeling them off like a band-aid and dispose in the trash.  It’s like take home acupuncture!

Wheat Grass Benefits…

Wheat Grass contains chlorophyll, vitamins, minerals, and amino acids.  It has several health benefits and provides an abdundant amount of antioxidants with each serving.  Wheat grass may help to boost the immune system, lower cholesterol, balance blood sugar, manage weight, and help to decrease oxidative stress.  It comes from a wheat plant called triticum aestivum which is edible and is commonly used for juicing.  It can also be taken in pill or powder form.  I give Duke Remington “the scootch” Rinehart some  orgainc wheat grass to chew on every few months.  It helps to detox and provides nutrients to keep him healthy.  Of course, he only eats it if he wants!

The story of the Willow Tree

willow tree narrative

“I am a willow of the wilderness, loving the wind that bent me.”–Ralph Waldo Emerson...  I have been asked, what is the significance of the willow tree?   The willow tree represents healing, enchantment, resonance, and harmony.  The bark has pain relieving and fever reducing properties.  The roots are deeply planted and the tree stands firm as the wind blows gently reminding us to be flexible with the winds of change.  I’ve always loved these strong beautiful trees that invite us to come and rest.  So, I chose the wonderous willow tree to represent, enchant, and harmonize this business.
