Wheat Grass Benefits…

Wheat Grass contains chlorophyll, vitamins, minerals, and amino acids.  It has several health benefits and provides an abdundant amount of antioxidants with each serving.  Wheat grass may help to boost the immune system, lower cholesterol, balance blood sugar, manage weight, and help to decrease oxidative stress.  It comes from a wheat plant called triticum aestivum which is edible and is commonly used for juicing.  It can also be taken in pill or powder form.  I give Duke Remington “the scootch” Rinehart some  orgainc wheat grass to chew on every few months.  It helps to detox and provides nutrients to keep him healthy.  Of course, he only eats it if he wants!
